PENERAPAN AUDIT MENEJEMEN FUNGSI SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA PADA PT. PELABUHAN INDONESIA III (PERSERO) CABANG TANJUNG PERAK SURABAYA
This research is meant to find out the implementation of human resources
function management auditing in assessing and evaluating various human
resources management performances and activities in order to assure whether this
activities have been running effectively and efficient in order to reach the
company objectives. This performance effectiveness can be seen from how the
company’s human resources recruitment, development and reduction of their
employees.
This research is conducted on PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (PERSERO)
Tanjung Perak, Surabaya branch, which is located on JalanTanjung Perak Timur
No. 620 Surabaya. A qualitative research by using case study approach is used by
the researcher. The data collection technique is conducted by performing
observation, interview and documentation. This technique is performed by
assessing the efficiency and the effectiveness among the standards which have
been established by the company and the reality which occurs in the company
human resources department.
The discoveries and the weaknesses in the human resources function
management auditing process are: the selection team’s inaccuracy during the
selection process; the lack of communication among the employees in the
company internal relationships so matter like reward is not known by the
company’s employees; the waiting process of the general manager’s decision
takes a long time so it influences the realization of this information, and the
supervision (controlling) to the lowest personnel division.
