PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL DAN KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS DAN NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SEMEN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI PERIODE 2009-2013

INTISARI
Nilai perusahaan mencerminkan kinerja perusahaan yang dapat
mempengaruhi persepsi investor terhadap perusahaan yang sering dikaitkan harga
saham. Semakin tinggi harga saham semakin tinggi pula nilai perusahaan. Nilai
perusahaan dapat memberikan kemakmuran pemegang saham secara maksimum
apabila harga saham perusahaan meningkat. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, ada
beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, diantaranya adalah
keputusan investasi, keputusan pendanaan, kebijakan deviden, struktur modal,
profitabilitas, growth opportunity, dan ukuran perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal dan keputusan investasi terhadap
profitabilitas dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan semen di Bursa Efek Indonesia
periode tahun 2009-2013.
Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 3 perusahaan semen yag terdaftar di Bursa
Efek Indonesia dan dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian merupakan
data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Indoesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD)
tahun 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2013. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik
analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk melihat pengaruh struktur modal dan keputusan
investasi terhadap profitabilitas dan nilai perusahaan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal tidak berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap profitabilitas; Keputusan investasi berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap profitabilitas; Struktur modal berpengaruh negatif dan
signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; Keputusan investasi berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan; Profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh signifikan
terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Firm value reflects the performance of the company which can influence the
perception of ivestors to the company which is commonly correlated to the stock
price. When the share price is getting high, the firm value is getting high as well.
The firm value can provide the stockholder maximum welfare when the stock price
increases. Based in the previous research, there are some factors which can
influence the firm value i.e.: investment decision, funding decision, dividend
policy, capital structure, profitability, growth opportunity, and firm size. The
purpose of this research is to find out the influence of capital structure and
investment decision to the profitability and firm value on the cement companies in
Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2009 – 2013 periods.
The samples of this research are 3 cement companies which are listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange and they have een selected by using purposive sampling.
The secondary data is used as the research data which has been obtained prom the
Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) from 2009 to 2013. The path analysis
technique is used as the data analysis in order to see the influence of capital
structure and investment decision to the profitability and firm value.
The result of the research describes that capital structure does not have any
significant influence to the profitability; the investment decision has significant and
positive influence to the profitability; the capital structure has significant and
negative influence to the firm value; the investment decision has significant and
positive influence to the firm value; the profitability does not have significant
influence to the firm value.
