PENERAPAN BALANCED SCORECARD SEBAGAI ALAT PENGUKURAN KINERJA PT. KERETA API INDONESIA (PERSERO) DAOP VIII SURABAYA
The data collection technique is carried out by performing preliminary survey and
field survey. While data analysis technique is using qualitative descriptive technique to find
out and to analyze how the performance of management at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia
(Persero) DAOP VIII Surabaya by using balance scorecard method through 4 perspectives
that are: financial perspective, customers perspective, internal business process perspective,
and learning and growing perspective. It can be concluded from the result of research that
company performance appraisal by implementing balance scorecard at PT. Kereta Api
Indonesia (Persero) DAOP VIII Surabaya shows less good performance. Based on the
financial perspective of income cost and operational cost are not worth so it makes return on
investment decreasing. Based on the customers perspective it shows less good performance
when it is seen from customers growth which is decreasing every year. Based on the internal
business process it shows less good performance when it is seen from the new policy of
economic class ticket booking procedure. Based on the learning and growing perspective it
shows less good performance when it is seen from the number of employees is decreasing
every year.
