PENERAPAN AUDIT OPERASIONAL DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS DAN EFISIENSI KINERJA MANAJEMEN FUNGSI PRODUKSI PADA PT. DELTA JAYA MAS

This research is expected to have a purpose to find out how the implementation of operational
auditing in assessing the production function management can increase the effectiveness and the
efficiency of production function and to indentify some factors which cause the deviation of production
function in order to find out the alternative solution. The research method of this research uses
preliminary survey which the researcher gain budget realization report to assess the target and the
performance realization of production department. On the other hand, field study obtains the data by
conducting interview, documentation, and observation. Some problems are found from the result of
research those are: employees’ often tardiness, the raw materials quality, the financial department of
internal and the production machines are having trouble. Some recommendations for the company’s
improvement are the company’s management should carry out monitoring to the human resources of
production department, the raw materials quality should be verified, verification on production
machines condition and readiness before the producing activity is performed by fashar department as
well as the financial department control of PT Delta Jaya Mas on the comparison of planning of
actual production activity to the result of planned realization.
