PENGARUH STRUKTUR OSET, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN LIKUIDITAS DENGAN PROFITABILITAS SEBAGAI VARIABEL PEMODERASI


Capital structure shows permanent financing that comes from long term account receivable
with own capital. One of the indicators in assessing the financial performance of food and beverages
companies is by seeing its profitability level. This is related to how far the company has been running
its business efficiently. The purpose of this research is to test the influence of asset structure, firm size,
and liquidity to the capital structure with the profitability as the moderate variable. The samples are 8
food and beverages companies which have been determined by using purposive sampling from 2009 to
2013. The statistics method is used to analyze the profitability that moderates the influence of asset
structure, firm size and liquidity to the capital structure is data processing that is carried out by using
multiple linear regressions. Data quality test shows that the data has been normally distributed.
Classic assumption test shows that there is a linear correlation among independent variables in
regressions model. The test has been conducted by using descriptive analysis to make comparison
which it is considered from the profitability that moderates the influence of asset structure, firm size
and liquidity to the modal structure. The result of significant t-test of food and beverages companies
shows that the influence of asset structure and liquidity is significant to the capital structure. The
result of significant t-test of food and beverages shows that the influence of firm size is not significant
to the capital structure. The result of significant t-test of food and beverages company shows that
profitability moderates the influence of asset structure and liquidity is significant to the capital
structure. And the result of significant t-test shows that profitability moderates the profitability
moderates the influence of firm size is not significant to the capital structure.
