JIRA PENERAPAN BALANCED SCORECARD SEBAGAI ALAT PENGUKURAN KINERJA PADA PT.KERETA API DAOP VIII SURABAYA
The performance assessment system is required by the company currently is a system which can assess the
performance from the whole key component in the company. The system should be able to identify the condition
and position of the company in according with its business sector, so based on the information which is
generated by the totally performance assessment system it has been expected that it can help the management
to determine the strategic steps which in appropriate with company’s mission, vision and main value. Based on
the result of the research it indicates that PT Kereta Api Daop VIII Surabaya has already had a mission, vision
and main value which is classified into the performance target and develop to the performance assessment of
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in four perspectives of balanced scorecard. Strategy map based on balanced
scorecard is expected to be able to be used in monitoring how far the objectives can be achieved effectively in the
future and to measure the company’s performance. Objectives to be achieved in this research is to investigate
the performance measurement of PT Kereta Api Daop VIII Surabaya when measured using the Balanced
Scorecard method that considers four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal
business processes, and learning and growth perspective.
