PENERAPAN AUDIT OPERASIONAL DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS DAN KEPUASAN KERJAKARYAWAN FUNGSI PEMASARAN PADA PT. DOK DAN PERKAPALAN SURABAYA (PERSERO)

This research is meant to find out how far the quality level and the employees’ satisfaction are by using operational auditing in this context is the sales function employees at PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) which is located on Jalan Tanjung Perak Barat No. 433-435 Surabaya. The operational auditing itself is used to find out the effectiveness, efficiency, and economy level of working performance which have been done by the company’s management.The qualitative method is used by the researcher in order to conduct the research at PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero). In accordance with this research, the researcher collects the data by using written interview (questionnaires) and observation. Some weaknesses on the sales function are the salary/wage rate which is achieved by the sales function employees, the facilities which are acquired by the employees, training and education which are obtained by the sales function employees. It can be concluded that the implementation of operational auditing at PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) is needed to be performed regularly in order to maintain the quality and the employees’ satisfaction so the company’s productivity can be continually controlled.
