MANFAAT ANALISIS CAPITAL BUDGETING TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN ASET TETAP PADA PT. PEMBENGUNAN INDONESIA RAYA

The purpose of the research is to find out the feasibility of investment plan which will be carried out by PT. Pembangunan Indonesia Raya. The investment plan of PT. Pembangunan Indonesia Raya is by purchasing a fixed asset in the form of heavy equipment with total financing of Rp 2,825,000,000 with interest rate as much as 15%. Type of research which is applied in this research is descriptive research with case study research design. The evaluation of investment feasibility to the investment plan of PT Pembangunan Indonesia Raya is by using Capital Budgeting technique which is used to find out whether the investment proposal approved or not, with the Payback Period, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Accounting Rate of Return analysis tools. These four models of analysis tools are applied with consideration that these methods which are based on the cash, since the cash information is very important for the company in making an investment decision. The result of Analysis which is achieved from Accounting Rate of Return is as much as 44.13%, therefore the investment plan is feasible to be applied since the discount rate is higher than what is being required by the company which is 15%. By using the techniques of Capital Budgeting the result of analysis indicates that financially the investment plan project of purchasing fixed asset in the form of heavy equipment at PT. Pembangunan Indonesia Raya is feasible to be applied.
