PERBANDINGAN ANALISIS TREN LAPORAN KEUANGAN UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI KINERJA PERUSAHAAN DI MASA YANG AKAN DATANG PADA INDUSTRI ROKOK YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

The purpose of this research is: (a) to know how to apply the trend analysis techniques in comparing the company’s performance with other similar companies from year to year, (b) to know what kind of steps of improvement which needs to be performed with regard to the current company's financial position, (c) to predict the company’s performance in the future. The method of analysis which is used in this research is the trend percentage form which the value in the financial statements are simplified into percentage so it is easily to be analyzed. The result of the research indicates that the comparison of the company’s performance after it is considered from the percentage changes in the increasing and the decreasing each year from every account which are owned by the company. In overall, it can be concluded, Thebest performance in terms of controlling company’s obligations is achieved by PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna. Then, in terms of improving the quality of profit earnings is achieved by PT Gudang Garam. While, PT Bentoel International Investama is not good in controlling the associated obligations and worst in gaining its profits.
