JIRA PENERAPAN BALANCED SCORECARD SEBAGAI ALAT PENGUKURAN KINERJA UNTUK MEWUJUDKAN VISI DAN MISI PERUSAHAAN PADA PT.KERETA API INDONESIA DAERAH OPERASI VIII SURABAYA
Balanced Scorecard provides the managers an instrument which is required by the company
to control the success of competition in the future. This research uses descriptive research
and qualitative approach in the form of case study. The object of the research is the
performance which has been achieved by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi Wilayah
VIII, Gubeng Railway Station Surabaya, as the transportation company. The purpose of this
research is to find out the performance measurement which has been implemented by the company.
The result of evaluation which has been obtained from the research shows that the performance
measurement at PT. Kereta Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi Wilayah VIII Surabaya has referred to the
Balanced Scorecard method but it has not maximally implemented the four perspectives in the
Balanced Scorecard. It can be seen from a financial perspective which over the years has decreased, so
it can be said to be less stable.
