ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PT. SORINI AGRO ASIA CORPORINDO Tbk SEBELUM SESUDAH AKUISISI

ABSTRACT

This research discusses about financial performance analysis on PT. Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo, Tbk before and after the acquisition. The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there are significant differences on financial performance at PT. Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo, Tbk before and after the acquisition based on the financial ratio i.e. liquidity ratio which includes current ratio and quick ratio, solvability ratio which includes debt to total asset ratio and debt to equity ratio, profitability ratio which includes net profit margin, return on asset and return on equity. This research uses documentary data which has been collected i.e. financial statement data on PT. Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo, Tbk in two year periods before and after the acquisition.. The data analysis has been carried out by using paired sample t-test. The result of the research shows that 7 ratios which have been tested by using paired sample t-test in 2-year periods before and after the acquisition therefore 6 ratios (current ratio, quick ratio, debt to total asset ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on asset, return on equity) do not have any significant differences. Meanwhile 1 ratio (net profit margin) has significant difference.
