ANALISIS KINERJA KEUANGAN PADA PERUSAHAAN BATUBARA YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

ABSTRACT

The financial performance of a company is the assessment of company achievement whether the financial
condition of the company is good or not. By conducting financial statement analysis of a company, the
parties which are concerned with the company can assess how the prospect of the company in the future.
This research is meant to find out the financial performance of go public coal companies by using
financial ratio analysis and it is compared to the companies which have good performance. The financial
ratios consist of liquidity ratio, activity, profitability, and solvability. The companies which have been
selected as the research object are PT. ATPK Resources Tbk, PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk, PT.
Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk and PT. Golden Eagle Energy Tbk and have been done by using
the secondary data collection method i.e. financial statement of the company from 2011 to 2015. The
result of the analysis shows that the financial performance of PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk
is better than the other three coal companies because from 9 financial ratios only 4 ratios which can meet
the industry standard, whereas the other three companies are unable to meet the industry standard.
