PERBANDINGAN RISK AND RETURN PADA OBLIGASI, VALAS, EMAS DALAM MENENTUKAN KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI.

ABSTRACT

In every investment activities there is risk and return which should be considered by the investors in determining their investment decision. Risk and return is two unseparated matters because of the consideration of an investment. This research is meant to find out whether the obligation has differences between risk and return when it is compared to foreign exchange and gold, and to find out which investment gives high rate of return. This research is a comparative casual research. The population is all history price data on these three investment instruments i.e. corporate obligation, foreign exchanges, and gold which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, and PT. ANTAM in 2013-2015 periods. The data analysis technique has been carried out by using compare mean test. Based on the result of the analysis which has been done, it can be concluded that obligation has risk and return differences and foreign exchange and gold has risk and return difference as well; foreign exchange has risk and return differences and gold has risk and return differences as well; and the foreign exchange investment instrument gives high rate of return.
