PENGARUH UKURAN PERUSAHAAN ,PROFITABILITAS DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

This research is aimed to examine the influence of firm size, leverage and profitability to the firm value. One of the primary goals of the company is done by optimizing its firm value. When the firm value is high, the shareholders will be more prosperous. Firm size is measured by using log size, profitability is measured by using Return on Equity (ROE),leverage is measured by using Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Firm Value is measured by using Price to book value (PBV).This research is a quantitative research. The samples in this research are banking companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and these banking companies have been selected by using purposive sampling method. The observation period in this research is in 2011-2015 periods. The analysis method has been carried out by using multiple linear regressions analysis.The result of the research indicates that: (a) firm size gives significant and positive influence to the firm value,(b) Profitability (ROE) does not give any influence to the firm value, it means that investors are not only see from the ROE information but they also consider other information, and (c) Leverage gives positive influence to the firm value, it means that high leverage is used to control excessive free cash flow.
